These terms are an agreement between you and MurrTech LLC, the maker of Plyra Chess.

1. The software

Plyra Chess is desktop software for studying chess. You may install it on computers you use. Engine features are free. AI features are provided by our online service within your plan's monthly allowance.

2. Plans and payment

Pro is a monthly subscription sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles billing, taxes, receipts and refunds. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel using the link in your receipt email. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Pro AI allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC). The Free plan includes 3 AI uses in the first week after installing and 1 per week after that, renewing on Mondays (UTC). Unused allowance or uses do not roll over.

3. Fair use

Do not share licence keys publicly, resell access, or try to get around allowances or rate limits. We may suspend keys that are abused.

4. Fair play

You must not use the software to get assistance during games where outside help is forbidden, including rated games on Chess.com and Lichess and over-the-board events.

5. No warranty

The software and analysis are provided "as is". Engines and AI can be wrong; check important conclusions yourself. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

6. Third-party software

Stockfish is free software licensed under the GNU GPL v3. The installer downloads it unmodified from the official Stockfish project; it is not part of Plyra Chess and is not sold. Chess.com and Lichess are independent services and are not affiliated with Plyra Chess.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this website before they apply.
